Amersfoort
This year CAPIGI is going back to Amersfoort again. Located in the middle of The Netherlands, Amersfoort is a medieval city with numerous momuments and culture. Due to it's location Amersfoort is very well accessible both by car and public transport. In less than an hour you will travel by train from Schiphol Airport to Amersfoort. Besides the historical touch the city is also very much alive with modern architecture and a vibrant city centre filled with shops, bars, cafés and outstanding restaurants. 

The CAPIGI Conference will be held at the "Prodentfabriek" (Prodent Factory). The Factory opened its doors in Amersfoort on May 27, 1937. It produced toothpaste, shoe polish, shampoo and deodorant. After some 80 years, the factory closed and, along with the surrounding buildings, became part of The New CIty. The area renamed "The New City" is a city within a city, where users, functions and buildings reinforce each other. It is a sustainable city with a bio-heating system, solar panels and a third life for De Paviljoens.
